i woke up theis morning with the urge to go punish myself for my 6-pack of Qrange Wheat and 3-Yager bombs which at the time was a great idea after the Bomb homemade chicken parmesian that the Mrs. Concocketed.

Three hours later it was being hurled into the toilet, What a waste of a perfectly good meal.

So today when i woke i decided i needed to be punished for my actions, and with that idea in my head i headed to Northend San Bernardino to Cal State university were the climb up 1n40(cloudline) begins. it's a brutal loose 6-mile climb up to hwy18. The last 1/4 mile is this realy loose shell,sharp little rocks that give no traction. i jumped right to the end because it still hurts, i had to down shift to the granny to get up it for about 100 yards. the middle of this ride gives little relief there are some spots were you can stand up but traction becomes limited. today this 6-mile climb took me 1-hour and 10-minutes. Not to bad since this is the first ride since Monday and that was 2-days of rode riding, Felt good to bust out the 9er and go climb.

The reward for this self torureous ride is the decent down hwy 18. it was a bit chily with lite sprinles and about 1000 ft below the snow line with i slite breeze so the low 50 degree ride felt like a hiGh 40's day. Anyway after a good 5-mile decent of hwy 18 i took the waterman Canyon exit to enjoy the 40-mile an hour twisty thrill ride with about 4-miles of fun S-turns and high speed corning. What a Blast !! 3-1/2 hours in the saddle-38-miles of fun, some parts painful but mostly it was a perfect day. Can't wait til tomorrow.
